Beijing Revisited

Here are some leftover pics from China. The building is Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square and the monument in front of it is the Monument to the People's Heroes.

Tiananmen Tower is at the north end of the Square and is the front door to the Forbidden City.

Old man and the sea

Ohhhh, life at the Hasuk with our favorite old man (lighting a ciggy on the right). No Soju tonight, looks like they have broken out the Makoli. Never a sober moment for our mysterious man. For those who don't know, one day, he bought us drinks and told us he was leaving Seoul to head to Pusan, even though he had no friends or family there. I asked why, and he just said "I hate Seoul." The next day I saw him lugging a medium-sized suitcase down the road. Wanting to avoid a replay of our goodbye, I slowed down until finally he was out of sight.

Here is Hoops, looking like he isn't sure he likes what he is eating (Sushi and noodles on New Year's Eve). Dan is digging it, though.

Time Cube Revisited

Well, I have no idea how I missed the time cube deal, and I also have no idea how the good doctor there is able to write so much crapola. I scrolled down the first page and was astonished to see a second one. Then I came upon this, my favorite bit of the entire site: ALL CLOCK FACES ARE WRONG. Please tell me how you found this stuff. I think if you take a hallucinogen and look at this site your brain explodes. Believe me, if I actually knew what the time cube was, I would actually want to believe. For the time being, I only know that SINGULARITY IS DAMNABLE LIE.
